Why UK MBA Can Be Completed In A Year?

Students often ask why master's degree offered by local universities take two to three years to complete. On the other hand, United States and Australia master's degree take two years, but British master's degree can be completed in a year. Will the duration of my studies affect the quality of education?

Although the British master's degree takes only one year to complete, the courses and assignments are well-arranged to ensure students learn and attain their full potential. Besides that, students are given sufficient time to complete their assignments for each subject. In fact, duration needed to complete the master’s degree is not a problem. Compared to the education system credits of various countries, the credits for a one-year master's degree in the UK are completely equivalent to the master's credits in other countries.

The UK master's degree consists of 180 credits, of which master's thesis accounts for 60 credits, that is, the remaining 120 credits are subject matter. For example, in the MBA program, you must fulfill at least 120 credits, usually 15 credits per subject. The British Master's degree is divided into three semesters a year, four courses per semester and one semester of papers. Hence this is the reason why most of the UK master's degree can be completed in one year.

To earn a British MBA, it might be a little bit more challenging that the local MBA. Hence, make sure to study hard all the time. Otherwise, you may not be able to pass. Although some universities do not have exams and student are required to work fully on assignments, it is also important for them to write strong contents for their consultancy project to obtain a UK university certificate.
