7 Tips to Maintain Work-Study-Life Balance

Maintaining a healthy work-study-life balance is crucial amid of very busy schedules for achieving a fulfilling life, and it's especially important when it comes to balancing work and education. Here are some tips that may help you achieve a better work-study-life balance.



1. Prioritize your daily tasks

Make a list of your most important goals and commitments, in your work, education and life. Prioritize your tasks and focus on what's most important. Plan wisely and prepare a priority list rather than a to-do list by ranking the tasks based on its urgency.


2. Schedule your daily tasks

Use a calendar or planner to schedule your work, educational and life commitments. Make sure to schedule in some time for relaxation, hobbies, and personal time. Take advantage of helpful tools available online for free such as Google Calendar.


3. Set boundaries and deadlines

Establish clear boundaries between work, education, and your personal life. Try not to let work and education spill over into your personal time. And try to limit your personal life from interrupting work and educational tasks. Setting your own deadlines way ahead than the deadlines given by the university or institute may help you to get things done easier and on time.


4. Practice good time management

Efficiently manage your time by setting achievable goals, breaking down larger tasks into smaller ones, and avoiding procrastination. Setting your own schedule and deadlines help you to manage your time wisely. Try to minimize the distraction from social media apps or entertainments that could negatively affect your time management.


5. Take care of yourself

Take care of your physical and mental health. Eat well, exercise regularly, and make time for relaxation. If you fail in your health, you cannot achieve the predetermined targets.


6. Communicate the schedules

Communicate with your employer, professors, colleagues, and family members regarding your schedules. Let them know what your priorities are and work together to find solutions to any conflicts that may arise.


7. Be flexible in plans when needed

Remember that life is unpredictable, and things may not always go according to plan. Be flexible and adaptable and learn to roll with the punches.
